The aim of this message is to provide an update on what the Branston Parish Council has done and is doing in response to the Covid-19 crisis.
I sincerely apologise for not reaching out to you earlier to bring you up to speed. It’s been a very hectic fortnight and in order to expedite the delivery of a timely response and action to support the community, Facebook has proven to be a excellent and very effective vehicle to achieve this.
In brief, upon my return from holiday a fortnight ago I picked up the reins to put in place elements of the Branston Emergency Plan on behalf of the Parish Council in response to the situation. As such I formed the Branston Parish Covid-19 Support Group, a dedicated sub-set of the Branston Emergency Group.
Last Monday, the Group, hotline numbers, email helpline and the Emergency Plan went LIVE and a leaflet was delivered to every household in the Parish. This was all undertaken with the express approval of the BPC and importantly the LCC County Emergency Centre at South Park.
If you would like to volunteer please call me on 07546 241900.
Thank you for your continued support
Best regards
Andy Marchant
