Things settled down today in that only 5 routine requests for assistance came in; shopping and prescription collections.
Earlier in the week I mentioned about the many relationships that have been developed with various local organisations, well today I’m pleased to say that I’ve added the Lincoln Community Larder to the list. Following a good discussion there now exists great opportunities to work together and provide mutual support to one another. Whilst this is obviously very useful for the current crisis, looking to future its another partnership that will prove to be important in respect of Emergency Planning for Branston in preparation for any other major event that may descend upon us.
When I decide to close this Group down……., as a Parish Councillor I will once again concentrate on my role as the Head of the Branston Emergency Group. This Group has been active for the last six years and possesses an LCC approved Emergency Plan. To cut to the chase, it is hoped that all of you will migrate across to this Group (FaceBook – Branston Emergency Planning) and continue to support me and importantly the Community.
This will be an integral element of my aspiration of the Branston Community Group. More details to follow.
