After “Waiting for Wednesday” (Lisa Leob – 1995), it quickly came around seeing us once again receive 5 requests for assistance.
Further to last nights post regarding establishing a ‘Branston Community Group’ / Good Neighbour Scheme, I have been really humbled by those who have shown an interest and indeed by those who recognise the need and have offered to join me in taking the idea forward, thank you.
It’s been a while since I’ve posted some feedback from very grateful residents and families, here is a small selection of the dozens that I regularly receive. To the volunteers and supporting organisations, please take a bow :-
“Thank you very much, we really appreciate your help”
“What a fantastic job, you and your team are doing”
“Thanks again to you all for taking the time to take care of those who need help the most”
“XXXXX is so kind and thoughtful to be taking Mum to the doctors tomorrow, because I know that Mum will not be able to remember what the doctor says to her”
“ I just want to say thank you very much for your help. You and your team are doing a sterling job. – Thank you”
“Great work being carried out in your community”
“It’s so comforting to know that the parish council take care of their own”
“Congratulations again to Andy and the rest of the Branston volunteers for stepping up, doing the right thing and helping those in your community who need your help to overcome these very hard and very confusing times”
“You and your team have been absolutely amazing thank you”
Take care and Stay Safe
Thank you for your continuing support – Andy
