Today sees the end of 16 weeks, that’s 4 months of this pandemic !
Today I’ve enjoyed “Lazing on a Sunday afternoon” (Queen – 1975) and with only 2 calls coming in for assistance it was easy to do. However, I did take the opportunity to make several welfare calls to residents that haven’t been in touch recently. Whilst enquiring specifically about prescription collections, it transpires that many are still shielding but are now having their medication delivered by the service provided by the ‘Lincoln Hub’. In most cases of those who I contacted, shopping is still being done by volunteers.
Obviously I will continue to closely monitor the situation, but for the foreseeable future from my perspective there’s no change and it’s business as usual.
