It was nice to see a bit of sunshine today, but it wasn’t as warm as it was in “Ice Cold in Alex”……..
The Branston Helpline phone only rang once today, a resident asking for advice on what support services will be available after the Covid-19 Sp Gp is disestablished. They were advised that those who don’t already appear on any welfare/wellbeing radar will be signposted to the relevant points of contact in either LCC or NKDC. Rest assured no-one will be abandoned.
As a reminder, the BPC Covid-19 Sp Gp was formed as a temporary sub-group from Branston Emergency Planning. The latter will be reinvigorated and remain prepared to deal with any future major incidents.
