After yesterday, things certainly quietened down today with only 3 requests for assistance coming in. However, one was like “The Wooden Horse”……..
in as much it was discovered that there was a lot more to it than first appeared. Needless to say the matter was successfully resolved.
Whilst collating feedback from the volunteers and having spoken to several of the remaining residents that we are supporting, I am satisfied that the group will be active until 1st September at the earliest. Hopefully this will alleviate any fears or anxieties that some may have, will provide an extended period to find alternative support if necessary and importantly be there if needed and on standby in the event of a ‘second wave’.
