Today saw us get back to normal with 7 requests for assistance being received. 4 x welfare calls, 2 x shopping and 1 x prescription collection and delivery.
However, additional calls were received from two very grateful residents who asked me to pass on their sincere thanks to the volunteers for the excellent support that they have received over the past 19 weeks. It is appreciation like this that makes everything that has been achieved, so worthwhile.
Branston All Saints Covid-19 Food Bank – I am currently seeking a volunteer to be the Food Bank Manager for the w/c 10 August and w/c 17 August. If you are available to assist and would like the opportunity to provide vital support to those residents in need, please give me a call on 07545 241940.
