Once again we ticked along nicely with 6 requests for assistance being received.
I had a ‘catch-up’ call with a Community Development Officer at the Co-op Lincolnshire Head Office, which is always good and I’ve been invited to attend a Food Bank summit to discuss and share experiences.
I also received a call from a Development Worker about the ‘STEPs to Work’ Project which is fully funded and ‘developmentplus’ organisations, who provide excellent support people who might want to build their confidence, self esteem and employability skills.
I’m still seeking a Food Bank Manager the week commencing Monday 17 August. If you are available to assist and would like the opportunity to contribute to the community, please give me a call on 07545 241940.
Additionally, I am still seeking a volunteer to provide a lift to and from Lincoln County Hospital on Friday 7th August at 1300hrs. As above if you are available to assist, please give me a call.
Finally, I am exicted to announce that the Group is going to be nominated for the National Lottery Community Award by YMCA Lincolnshire – thank you very much for considering us and we’ll keep our fingers crossed 🤞
