Incredibly the week finishes off with 8 requests for assistance being received covering the full range of routine tasks that we provide, including support to a Dunstan resident.
Branston All Saints Covid-19 Food Bank – A big thank you to Lesa who has managed the Food Bank this week; taking in donations, providing boxes and ensuring that all the stock is in date and fit for consumption. Good luck with your next challenge in where possible re-establishing the library with your band of volunteers, another great village facility. Next week we will see Peter Lundgren holding the reins in the Church Hall. As a District Councillor he has kindly offered to be available to speak to anyone who has any questions or may wish to discuss any District Council matters. Finally, thank you to those who have offered their services to manage the Food Bank for the rest of the month, it is greatly appreciated. Will I need to seek volunteers for September……..and maybe beyond. Who knows ?
