Branston Community Group – Good Neighbour Scheme Survey
I’m pleased to say that all bar a few, the 2000 survey leaflets have been divvied out amongst 27 volunteers who kindly offered their services. By the end of the month, every household will have a copy. Additionally, in a few days a link to Survey Monkey will be place. Please have your say and importantly spread the word. The more responses received, the better understanding we’ll have of what residents need, would like and think.
Branston All Saints Covid-19 Food Bank
FareShare once again kindly delivered various items to the Food Bank today which as ever was greatly appreciated – especially the Lindor chocolates ! Oops, I was meant to have kept that quiet……..
I’m still looking for volunteers to manage the Food Bank for the following weeks:
W/C 7 Sep & 8 Sep only
W/C 14 Sep
W/C 21 Sep
W/C 28 Sep
W/C 5 Oct
W/C 12 Oct
If you are interested, available and would like to play your part in helping those in need and supporting the community, please give me a call on 07546 241940.
Polite Reminder
***** Volunteers Group Photograph *****
On Wednesday 26th August 20 at 1800hrs I would like to hold a quick photo shoot at the Moor Lane Recreation Ground for all those volunteers who have very kindly given their time and effort to the group. Can I please ask that as many of you try and make it? The aim is to get a great group photograph that can be used to recognise and promote the achievements of the group. Of course strict distancing will take place. Your attendance for just a few minutes will be greatly appreciated. See you there….
Now is probably a good time to mention that when appropriate I intend to host a social event to 1) to show my appreciation to everyone, 2) to provide an opportunity for the first time for you to meet fellow volunteers 3) to provide an opportunity for you to give me feedback – good, bad or otherwise and 4) hopefully encourage you in continuing to support me in either the Branston Community Group – Good Neighbour Scheme and/or Branston Emergency Planning.
Finally, a little bit of self-indulgence, if I may.
Yesterday it was announced that I have been selected as a finalist in the NK Community Champion Awards, in the Community Safety category. Thank you for the nomination and of course a very special thank you to everyone that has supported me in trying to make Branston a better, more resilient, safer and community spirited place to live.
Additionally, today it was announced that the Lincoln based cyber intelligence and security company I work for, KryptoKloud is a proud Platinum Partner of the Imps ! One of the highlights is the naming of the former Bridge McFarlane stand – “KryptoKloud End”.
At this point, it would be very remiss of me not to mention the Bosses; Paul and Allison Burrows for their support in allowing me to occasionally manage the Group and requests from the office – thank you.
Take care and Stay Safe everyone
Thank you for your continued support
Andy
