Day 16 – Wed 8 Apr 2020
By all accounts a very satisfying day that saw 13 requests for help being conducted by our great band of volunteers.
After 16 days in which 110 requests have been received and completed, with my fingers crossed I am relatively satisfied that the majority of those who need help have come forward and identified themselves. HOWEVER, I am anxiously aware that there will be others out there who will need help in the very near future and beyond, somehow we need them to find them and ensure that they don’t slip through the net.
Volunteer Indemnity Documentation. This is an important process that has been put in place to protect us all, thank you for your understanding.
The Branston Food Bank once again distributed some food today and also received a generous donation from an individual in Heighington. I will re-iterate, the Food Bank is now relatively well stocked therefore if you know anyone or are aware of anyone who may benefit from this kindly donated food, please call me on 07395 906220 or email on Branstonhelp@gmail.com
Donations are still being accepted – Mon-Fri 1000-1100am. Don’t forget all Food Bank requests will be dealt with in strictest confidence.

Finally, a message from Steve Eason-Harris Senior Emergency Planner (LCC County Emergency Cell)
“I want to say on behalf of LCC CEC a huge thank you to and your magnificent group of volunteers for all that you have achieved and for what you will continue to do in support of your community – indeed, without doubt you are saving lives”
What more can I say, thank you for your continued support – Andy
