For the first time in 188 days, we’ve had two consecutive days where there hasn’t been a call for assistance. However, I sincerely believe that this is just a gliche and we’re most certainly not out of the woods.
Without getting into any political discussions regarding testing and current statistics, there is a recurring trend that cannot be ignored. As such the group will remain active as long as vulnerable residents in Branston need support.
Branston All Saints Covid-19 Food Bank
Leading nicely on from above and with the kind permission of Rev Lorna Brabin-Smith and the Branston All Saints Group, I am very pleased to confirm that the Food Bank will also remain active until the end of the year. Dependent upon the requirement, future circumstances and availability of volunteer Food Bank Managers, the opening times maybe adjusted accordingly.
Unfortunately, the final FareShare delivery will be next Tuesday. They have provided an excellent service that has been gratefully received. Thereafter, ‘we’ll’ continue to seek support from other organisations who have also provided donations and of course from the fantastic generosity and goodwill of the community.
