Well what an interesting day…….8 requests for assistance were received, consisting of 3 x welfare (2 x visits & 1 x call), 2 x Food Boxes delivered, 2 x Prescriptions collected and delivered and 1 x Shopping trip.
Now I have to apologise for a little indulgence.
Today I attended an Awards Lunch, featured in the Lincolnshire Echo, The Lincolnite and appeared on the front page of the Sheepwash Times !
At lunchtime I enjoyed an excellent meal at The Sessions Restaurant on the Lincoln College Campus that was hosted by Gary Headland CEO of the Lincoln College Group, Simon Beardsley CEO Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce and Daniel Ionescu Managing Editor of the Lincolnite.
Afterwards I become the proud recipient of a ‘Local Lockdown Hero Award 2020’ that was sponsored by the Lincoln College and The Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce.
The latter show the publicised articles of the NK Community Champions – Community Safety Award that was sponsored and presented by the Police and Crime Commissioner of Lincolnshire, Marc Jones, last week.
On a serious note, I will reiterate that I accepted these awards on behalf of all the great volunteers and organisations who have so generously and loyally supported me to provide and continue to provide such an excellent service. However, let us not forget, it remains business as usual and we’ve a way to go…..
Take care and Stay Safe
Thank you for your continuing support – Andy
