Firstly, thank you very much for all the congratulatory messages, emails, texts and calls, they were very kind and much appreciated.
After all the excitement of yesterday, I’ve refocused on our core business with following up on 7 requests for assistance. Today they were 3 x Welfare, 2 x Shopping trips, 1 x Food box delivery and 1 x Prescription collection and delivery.
Branston All Saints Food Bank
A Friday update wouldn’t be complete without thanking the ‘Duty’ Food Bank Manager, who this week was Dee. Being her first week, I know that she thoroughly enjoyed it and found it very rewarding when being able to provide vital support, thank you. I’m not sure how many times I’ve written this, but next week like you too, I once again welcome back ‘Mr Food Bank’ himself, Marcus who has very kindly offered to do another stint – thank you.
As it appears we will be heading to a possible Tier 2 – 3 State, I want to take this opportunity to remind volunteers about protecting themselves when conducting tasks. If you become unwell, please let me know. PPE is available if required. Of course, everyone should adhere to the Government/ NHS Guidelines.
Take care, Stay Safe and have a great weekend.
Thank you for your continuing support – Andy
