Things picked up somewhat again today as 11 calls were received. These involved the delivery of four food box deliveries and seven were welfare related.
Branston All Saints Food Bank
It’s been a busy week at the Church Hall and thank you to Judy, Marcus, Julie, Liam and Simone for their great support. Next week we’ll see the return of Marcus, who will be working closely with Judy in arranging the delivery of Christmas hampers from Tuesday onwards.
Of interest the future operation of the Food Bank into 2021 is currently being discussed at various levels with consideration being given to possibly running it until the end of March, should the requirement remain and circumstances prevail. As soon as dates are confirmed, I’ll once again be conducting a trawl for Food Bank Managers, based on experience I do not envisage a shortage of willing volunteers….
