A quiet day and end to 2020 with only 3 requests for assistance being received. 1 x Food Box delivery, 1 x Shopping trip and 1 x Welfare visit.
Branston All Saints Food Bank
It’s been a steady week at the Food Bank and one that was topped off by responding to an urgent request received via NKDC Wellbeing to support an individual in Birchwood. Another great example of the Groups reputation and flexible ability to provide mutual support to other communities.
Normal service resumes on Monday 4 January 2021 with Linda at the helm. In the interim, if anyone or if you know of anyone who would benefit from assistance, please call the Branston Community Helpline on 07395 906220

The countdown has begun – whose going to be the lucky winner……🤔
Watch this space and I’ll let you know tomorrow.
Undoubtedly 2020 has been dreadful with so many having lost their lives and so many having lost their loved ones prematurely because of the pandemic. On behalf of the BCG-GNS Committee I want to say a massive heartfelt thank you for your fantastic and unrelenting support in whichever form it came; either as a volunteer, an organisation, a sponsor or a donor. It is greatly appreciated and non more so, than by those vulnerable residents who have been served and protected. Having successfully responded to over 1700 requests for assistance for 170+ residents across 13 communities, this could not have been achieved without this incredible level of dedication and commitment. You’ve certainly made a difference, put Branston on the county map and importantly potentially saved lives…….what more can I say.
Finally we wish you and your families a much much better and healthy 2021.
Take care and Stay Safe – Andy, Jim, Linda, Liam, Kev, Jonathan, Foxy and Joseph 👍
