Well what a day it has been – 25 calls for assistance rolled in today covering a wide range of requests:

10 x Miscellaneous (Dog walking, advice, cleaning, fitting a carbon-monoxide alarm…)
7 x Welfare (Including two home visits)
4 x Prescription collection and deliveries
3 x Shopping trips &
1 x Food Box delivery

Interestingly, there was a combination of ‘new’ residents, those who had not previously contacted the group, those who haven’t been in contact for a while and of course our regulars. Additionally, I have ‘signed’ up three new volunteers from Branston and surrounding communities who have very kindly offered their services.
