After yesterdays epic, I’ll give your eyes a rest this evening.
However, there is one important piece that I must provide you with, the details on how to vote for the Branston Community Group (BCG) in order compete for important funding which starts tomorrow:
Lincolnshire Co-op Community Champions – Voting starts tomorrow !!
The BCG Community Champions application for the Spring quarter made the final shortlist to go through to the voting stage.
Voting will commence on the Co-op website from tomorrow, Monday 18th January to Sunday 31st January 2021. Anyone who is a member of Lincolnshire Co-op will be eligible to vote. All you have to do is visit lincolnshire.coop/ccvote during the voting window and vote to support the Branston Community Group – Good Neighbour Scheme.
Whilst online voting is encouraged it is understood that not everyone has access to the internet so the Co-op Membership Team will be on hand during the voting period to take any votes over the phone – just call 01522 781135.
Your participation in this process will assist the Group in potentially being awarded funding to help set us up and financially prepare us for 2021 and beyond, thus enabling us to continue to be able to provide this excellent capability for everyone across the community.
Please, please vote and encourage others to do so. If successful the community of Branston and Mere will greatly benefit from it.
Branston All Saints Food Bank
For the next fortnight, Judith will be managing the Food Bank to receive your donations and respond to requests.
