Another day passes whereby our daily average was doubled. This time 14 requests were received, related to the following requirements:
4 x Welfare (Including 1 x Home visit)
3 x Miscellaneous
3 x Prescription collection and deliveries
2 x Food Boxes delivered &
2 x Shopping trips
Branston All Saints Food Bank
There is no doubt that over the past few months the need for the Food Bank has significantly increased, due to a number of reasons. For those that need support, it has proven and will continue to be a valuable resource. It is will continue to operate until 31 March whereupon a decision will be made dependent upon the situation and requirement. In addition to these points, a primary factor for its future will be the provision of a suitable location. Any suggestions? Thank you to those who kindly donated cash and food today. The following items are currently in short supply and would be appreciated:
Nappies Size 4+ and Size 6
Tinned meats; pies, ham, pork etc
Washing up liquid / Washing powder/liquid
Jams
Soaps and shampoos
Toilet rolls / Kitchen rolls
Apple and orange juice
