Well what a day, it has been really busy with a total of 26 requests for assistance being received covering a multitude of tasks. They looked like this:
10 x Welfare (Included 4 x home visits, advice etc)
6 x Miscellaneous
4 x Prescription collection and deliveries
3 x Shopping trips &
3 x Food Box delivered
Interestingly, three requests came from residents who haven’t been in touch for a long while and two were, residents who hadn’t previously contacted the group.
Branston All Saints Food Bank
Five generous food donations were made today, thank you so much to those who dropped them off and thank you of course to Judy to was this weeks Manager and who indeed will be in situ again next week.
If you are considering or would like to donate the following items would be appreciated:
Nappies Size 4+ and Size 6
Tinned meats; pies, ham, pork, spaghetti hoops, macaroni cheese
Washing up liquid / Washing powder/liquid
Biscuits and crisps
Rice puddings
