Request for Volunteer Assistance
I have received a request for a volunteer to provide welfare assistance to a Branston Booths resident. It will involve befriending the gentleman and where practicable with appropriate measures in place meeting for general chats. If this is something that you feel that you may be able to help with or would like further information about, please give me a call.
Branston All Saints Food Bank
You will have undoubtedly noticed that the demand for food boxes has increased over the past three months. This is due to a number of reasons that I won’t go into, but as long as the requirement exists the Branston All Saints Food Bank will continue to provide essential help to those that need it. As such the stock turnover for some products is high and replenishment is very kindly and generously met by donations from various sources, which never ceases to amaze the team of Food Bank Managers and I. To ensure that the right items are available and there isn’t any unnecessary wastage or surplus of unwanted items, I’ll continue to publish a ‘shopping list’ for which I hope that you approve. The following items would be appreciated:
Tinned meats and fruit
Spaghetti hoops, macaroni cheese
Cleaning materials: Washing up liquid / Washing powder/liquid
Take care and Stay safe.
Thank you for your continuing support – BCG Committee: Andy, Jim, Linda, Liam, Joseph, Jonathan, Sharon and Kev. 👍🏻
