Considering yesterday was quiet, today certainly made up for it as an incredible 27 requests and tasks were received and completed. Indeed, 17 of these came in before 1230 and I wondered wren it and how many we’d finish with.
The scores on the doors were:
7 x Shopping trips
6 x Miscellaneous (Included assistance with form filling, installing new telephones, TV licences and engaging with Lincolnshire Sensory Services and the South Lincolnshire Blind Society who I may say were both very very helpful)
6 x Welfare (Included 2 home visits and hospital liaison calls)
4 x Food Box deliveries &
4 x Prescription collection and deliveries.
Branston All Saints Food Bank
It has been yet another incredible week at the Food Bank and a massive thank you goes out to Marcus and Judy who have very efficiently and swiftly responded to numerous requests for support. Additionally of course, a big thank you to all those, both residents and organisations alike, who have so very kindly and generously donated, either provisions or cash. This importantly enables the Group to sustain this excellent capability that is sadly becoming increasingly in demand.
