To put things into another perspective, Day 65 equals Week Ten – Day Two !!
Today there has been a steady flow of eight requests for assistance. Whilst this is less than lasts
weeks daily average a couple required a few hours to resolve.
Worthy of a special mention is the successful response to an urgent request from NKDC Wellbeing to provide a Food Box to a resident in the north of Lincoln who was desperately in need of provisions including toiletries. Once again this is another great example of the Groups capability to assist, not only residents from Branston and surrounding communities but also those in the City of Lincoln. A special thank you to Natasha and Linda for completing this one.
The Branston All Saints Covid-19 Food Bank saw its fourth delivery from FareShare (Hull & Humber) today and thanks to them for their contributions. These along with the continuing kind donations by residents ensures that the Food Bank remains operational and effective.
Staying with donations, the face masks and materials that have been received are all greatly appreciated. Another special thank goes to Louise and her partner who very kindly donated the proceeds from selling veggie plants outside of their house. Once again this is greatly appreciated and will be put to good use.
Finally, please don’t forget the ‘Design a logo’ competition.
Take care, Stay Safe and thank you for your continuing support – Andy
