Ten requests for assistance were received today that included shopping, collecting prescriptions, accompanying a resident on a hospital appointment, a food box delivery and the installation and setting up of a new phone !
This evening I’ve got two special thank you’s to mention.
The first is for Sam, a volunteer from South Hykeham who came across and took a resident to Lincoln County Hospital for an appointment and dropped him back home.
The second is for the Branston Charity who donated £200 of Co-op Vouchers to the Branston All Saints Covid-19 Food Bank for any Branston residents who may need financial assistance.
Both acts of kindness are very much appreciated and are testament to the goodwill of all the volunteers and local organisations.
Donations of face masks and materials have started to trickle which is great.
Finally, please don’t forget the ‘Design a logo’ competition.
