Thankfully, it has been a much quieter day with 6 requests for assistance being received.
During the calls for assistance, more often than not I am asked when they can adventure out to conduct their own shopping, prescription collections etc as they seem uncertain as to when their 12 week ‘shielding’ period expires. My personal advice has been to remain ‘in situ’ until 30th June and even then when going out they must adhere to the current guidelines.
‘The Wandering Lady’ – Update. I have received a number of calls and messages from residents who have seen her again today. She has recently moved into the village and does have a home. To the best of my knowledge she has been assisted, but thank you for showing your concern.
