Today has been like no other we’ve experienced to date. With a total of 25 requests for assistance and advice being received it has been exceptionally busy covering just about everything that you could image. This is the most that we have ever responded to in one day.
The Branston All Saints Covid-19 Food Bank continues to provide a valuable service to residents. Due to the fantastic donations that have been received, 15 generous bags this week alone it is well stocked and readily available to anyone who needs support. As a hub for collecting face masks and materials, a special mention goes out to Tina from Lincoln who recently dropped off a huge batch with more on the way next week, thank you very much. As 4mm elastic is still in demand, it has been decided to use some of the cash donated to purchase a quantity to give to our ‘Sewing Bee’s’ to assist in the production of masks.
