Although, not as busy as it was yesterday, 11 requests for assistance were received. As always each and every one provided great support for those who are shielded and are still required to remain at home, at least until the 30th June.
The Branston All Saints Covid-19 Food Bank – On Monday our Food Bank Manager, Natasha is required to return to work for initially a week, but maybe permanent. Therefore, whilst not wanting to ‘close up shop’ for the week, I’m looking for a volunteer to temporarily run the Food Bank. It is not an onerous task, it’s a case of opening up daily between 1000-1100 Mon-Fri, receiving and quarantining donations, monitoring stock levels and dates, and importantly putting together food boxes in preparation for delivery. Some of these will be at short notice and outside of the opening times.

Elastic for Face Masks. The Food Bank now has a quantity of 4mm elastic, if you are making masks and would like some; please pop into the Church Hall.
