Things picked up again today with 8 requests for assistance being received. Interestingly, two of these were from ‘new’ residents who haven’t previously been in touch. It is really good to know that even after 13 weeks, the existence of the group and its capabilities is still being recognised.
Reminder for Volunteers – Can I please remind volunteers that if you are continuing to provide assistance to a resident that you have become ‘attached to’ to please keep me informed ? The reasons are genuine in that for indemnity purposes I have an oversight of the number and type of tasks being completed. Additionally, it is also for the Groups statistics which I collate and use for promoting and advertising the Group as well as forwarding to NKDC and the LRF for their information and records.
